If your child is intent on pouring their own drink, like our 3 1/2 year old, and you’d like to avoid spillage, try this tip from Parent Hacks.

“When kidlets want to pour their own milk or juice at our house but cannot be trusted not to spill, we open up the dishwasher and let her use the flat door surface as a table to pour on.. If she spills, no big deal, it can just be closed and the next time I run the dishwasher, it is cleaned up for me.”

I feel like I’ve arrived into the 21st century now….official blogger!!!

Well, we’ve reached 35 weeks in the pregnancy today.  Megan has a doctor’s appointment at 3:30pm so we’ll know more then.  I’ll keep everyone posted as we learn more.

I’m getting ready to pack for my Western adventure. As everyone in the family knows, Ohio State is playing my Gators in the BCS championship game. I always said that the next time the Gators went to Arizona I’d go see them. I had no idea it’d be so soon!

The whole trip will be a big adventure. I’m flying to Vegas to meet up with old friends. We’ll then drive through the Grand Canyon and stay a night in a hotel overlooking the canyon. Then we’ll try to scalp tickets to the game, but I’ll end up watching it at a local bar I’ll make sure to take lots of pictures for the blog.
